Family

I don’t do figurative art often but, it can be satisfying. My mother’s portrait, smiling while doing the dishes was from a photo my father took years ago. She passed away at an early age so the painting feels like a portal giving me solace. The large painting of my son, was done after he turned 16. I like the sentiment and am continuing to explore figurative work of loved ones.
